Samantha Mortimer is a manager in the firm’s audit and accounting department. Working with nonprofits, healthcare organizations and government contractors is Samantha’s specialty.
With six years of experience working in public accounting, Samantha helps clients make the best financial decisions for their organization. By reviewing their year-end reports along with consulting on various business issues, she helps them better understand their financial position.
Working on many different projects is Samantha’s favorite thing about the accounting profession. Samantha greatly enjoys problem solving. She loves assisting clients as new situations arise and helping them work through things step-by-step. She also likes training Gross Mendelsohn’s staff members and watching them grow at the firm.
Outside the office, you’ll find Samantha trying out a new recipe, hiking or playing some sort of sport outside… especially pickleball.

- Shockingly enough, when Samantha was a kid, she wanted to be an accountant. Her grandmother, stepmom and sister are all accountants and she wanted to follow in their footsteps.
