About The Harbour School

The Harbour School was founded in 1982 with the belief that all children can learn, especially when they are taught in the way that they learn best. The school, offering grades 1-12, provides supportive, caring and individualized education to students with learning disabilities, autism and speech language impairments.

The Situation

The Harbour School hired Gross Mendelsohn in 2010 to conduct the annual audit of its employee benefit plan, a 403(b) retirement plan. Prior to 2010, the school’s 403(b) plan did not require an audit.
